Celebrate at Las Americas Festival
Join the party at Las Americas Festival in downtown Orlando to celebrate Latino culture and heritage. This year’s event is expected to be bigger than ever, drawing crowds of over 20,000 attendees. Details are still being announced but the festival is expected to take place in early September, making it a great way to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.
Dine and Dance at Las Americas Festival
If you love music, dancing, and great food, Las Americas Festival is the place to be. There is no entrance fee for this free, family-friendly festival. All are welcome; simply come ready to dance and celebrate, and bring a flag to represent your county. Don’t forget to bring your appetite too. Local food vendors will serve delicious dishes from various Latin American and Caribbean countries. There will also be opportunities to connect with local sponsors, purchase handmade goods made by local artisans, a special zone for kids, and live entertainment.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Orlando
Since Las Americas Festival takes place in September, it is a perfect way to observe Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15. Hispanic Heritage Month coinciding with the Independence Day celebrations for many Central and South American countries and honors the histories, cultures, and accomplishments of those with Hispanic heritage. In addition to the Las Americas Festival, Orlando celebrates with art shows, block parties, and other cultural events.
