Evening Activities to Kick off the Fall Season in Orlando
The start of the fall season gets every Central Florida local in the Halloween spirit, and Orlando is full of activities dedicated to the changing seasons. If you’re looking for an excuse to get outside and soak up an evening of fall in Florida, here are three events guaranteed to put you in a festive mood.
Night Market at Audubon
Take a fall-themed stroll through the Audubon Park Garden District during the Night Market at Audubon event on October 7. Featuring crafts, street food options, art, photography, and live music, this event has plenty of options to keep your entire family entertained all evening long. Visit the fortuneteller booth to get a glimpse at where the night will take you, or head over to one of the two beer gardens for some serious sampling. If you’re feeling festive, enter into the free costume contest and see what prizes you’ll take home.
Creepy Crawl 5K and Vampire Mile
If you’re looking for a fun way to get active in the fall weather and support a good cause, register for the Orlando Creepy Crawl 5K and Vampire Mile. This event encourages participants of all skill levels to help fundraise for the Hemophilia foundation of greater Florida. Once the crawl is over, stick around the event for an awards ceremony and a festive Halloween gathering. This event takes place on October 26, and online registrations are already open for enrollment.
À La Cart’s Movie Monday: “Hocus Pocus”
This event is completely free to the public and filled with fall themes. On October 14, bring your friends and family to enjoy a complimentary screening of the Halloween classic, “Hocus Pocus,” and enjoy the less frightful fall weather. Before the showing starts, grab a meal from one of the five participating food trucks. Head inside À La Cart and order from an assortment of beer, wine, and other drinks. Bring your favorite camping chair or blanket and enjoy the movie right on the lawn of À La Cart. At the closing of the event, À La Cart will raffle off movie-themed prizes to attendees.
